MyView
is the online panel of the national market and social research
company, I-view Pty Ltd. Our company currently conducts interviewing
across Australia on a wide variety of topics ranging from national
health issues, preferred holiday destinations, shopping habits, what
level of service you expect from your bank to what brands of shampoo
your household might use.
Your opinions on these and other issues are important to us. Your
views will help our clients to improve the services and products
that they provide to you and to all Australians. MyView is offering
to reward you for your time and effort in exchange for finding out
your views on a range of topics, products and services.
Once you register, you will need to complete a short questionnaire
asking about your lifestyle and shopping habits. You will then be a
member of the MyView panel, and be eligible for our studies.
In 2009 MyView will be rewarding it's members by
awarding dollars to everyone who participates in a study. The number
of dollars you receive depends on whether you have qualified to do
our survey, as well as the length of the survey we have asked you to
complete. If you are invited to participate in a survey, but do not
qualify, you will be awarded with $0.50. If you qualify and complete
a survey up to 10 minutes in length (approximately 30 questions) you
will receive $1.00. For a survey 11-20 minutes, you will receive
$2.00; 21 to 30 minutes, $3.00 and so on in blocks of ten minutes.
The types of research studies you may be invited to participate
in are:
Online Surveys
An invitation and link to a secure web site are sent to your e-mail
address and we ask that you respond using the prompts on screen. On
average, the surveys would take about 10 minutes to 20 minutes,
maximum.
Group Discussions
Lasting about 1 ¼ hours, a group discussion is a meeting of 6-10
people to discuss issues around products and services. If you
attend, you will be provided with light refreshments, and are paid
for your time (between $25 and $100, depending on the time it
takes). These discussions may be held at a local function venue or
in one of our clients’ offices. Sometimes, we also run these
discussions online in a chat room environment.
Telephone Surveys
An invitation to participate in a telephone survey will be sent to
your e-mail address, with a list of times presented as alternatives
for the most convenient time to contact you. One of our friendly
interviewers will then contact you and ask some questions over the
telephone. On average, this type of survey would take around 15 to
20 minutes.
Face to Face survey
As with Telephone surveys, you will receive an invitation via e-mail
and choose a time. Face to face surveys can be conducted in your
home, at a central location, such as a shopping centre, or our
offices. On average, this type of survey takes 20 to 30 minutes. If
you need to come to our venue you will receive a minimum of $20 cash
for your time.
